Community Grants Fund

Applications for grants from the Council’s 2017/18 Community Grants Fund Applications are NOW OPEN and will close at 5pm on Friday 30th June 2017.
The Community Grants Fund aims to provide Voluntary and Community Groups with a flexible funding opportunity to support the delivery of projects and activities that benefit the local community. £70,700 is available to fund local projects. Community groups that fulfil the criteria, can apply for grants between £500 and £5,000. The main way to access specific information and advice about the Council’s Community Grant Fund is to attend one of the advice surgeries where you will be able to find out if and how your project fits into this year’s SADC funding priorities.

This will be a great chance to discuss your application with Kate Newton from the CVS who will take you through the application process.

There is no need to book but if you would like to let us know you are coming or have access needs please contact Kate.

Key Documents
The key documents for applying for a community grant can be viewed via these links

Advice Surgeries  – will be aimed at groups wishing to discuss their project ideas and will cover the key elements of a successful application. Further Advice Surgeries  will be for those groups who have completed a draft grant application and are attending to discuss any minor beneficial amendments.
